Senior Underwriter - Hybrid Role (Chatswood)

We are working with a client who is seeking a Senior Underwriter for a hybrid role based in Chatswood, NSW. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing superior customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Reviewing applications for both residential and commercial title insurance.

• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to design and implement ways to mitigate loss through changes in underwriting.

• Assisting all product groups with the design and implementation of new product offerings.

• Providing leadership to a team of 1 to 2 direct reports.

Essential requirements for this position include 3-4 years of experience in Strata and residential or commercial title insurance or property law. Desirable criteria include a Bachelor of Law or a conveyancing background. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
